The Bed Couch was originally covered with quilted artificial leather. There are contradictory records of the color of the upholstery. Similar to the Party Lounge, the cushioned seat and backrest rest on a continuous steel-tube frame. The frame turns up at the sides, thus forming the armrests, which are also used to lock the backrest. The couch can be converted into a bed with a snap mechanism. Both variable elements vary in depth, thus allowing the lounge to be used for three different purposes. Due to the different depths of the variable elements, an additional pair of castors must be integrated into the substructure.
